Moutai Day

Client: Kweichow Moutai

In November 2016, the Chinese liquor company Moutai came to San Francisco to celebrate the first anniversary of Moutai Day. As the official celebration of Chinese culture and spirits in San Francisco, the event featured dignitaries from the Chinese Government as well as local leaders such as Ed Lee and Neil Bush. Working in partnership with Key Events, Repertoire Productions and Golden Gate 3D, we converted a century-old hangar into an immersive event that featured a 70′ widescreen projection surface and content experiences that backed cultural performances and keynote presentations.

THE RESULT

The event hosted over 500 guests including domestic and foreign dignitaries such as Ren Faqiang, Chinese deputy consul general, Mayor Ed Lee, and Neil Bush. Our integrated brand content successfully drove tenants of technological innovation and continuous expansion to the attendees. As such, the event kicked off a massive US advertising campaign for the Moutai Distillery Group.
