Retail Innovation Center

Client: Westfield

Westfield reached out to Britelite to design and develop a technology focused innovation center that would drive traffic and awareness to digital retail platforms. To reach customers, a cohesive digital layer was needed that delivered high impact, interactive content to a variety of interactive video walls and screens.

MY ROLE

For this project, I created an interactive liquid physics art piece in Touchdesigner for the public facing screens inside in front of the event space. The systems were designed to output at full 6k resolution and used Kinect cameras for user interactions. I was also responsible for defining and building the custom servers needed for the installation.

THE RESULT

BESPOKE immediately became a success, garnering national media attention on CNN, and NBC, TechCrunch, Business Week and Mashable. It has brought hundreds of thousand additional visitors to the San Francisco Center. The demo area and gestural screens have showcased interactive content for IBM, Rovio, Facebook, Salesforce, and more.
